A Canadian Study proves herd immunity does not exist

A 2014 study, done by the government of Canada, proves that vaccine coverage for most of the adult population for Pertussis is less than 10%. Despite this low coverage, Canada is not experiencing a significant number of Pertussis outbreaks. |
Public health officials always say that 95% coverage is required to obtain herd immunity. However, this study demonstrates that, even with coverage significantly lower than 95%, Canada did not have any significant outbreaks. According to Health Canada, each year, the number of Pertussis cases in Canada is  between 1000 and 3000.
