Vaccination fails to fully protect against viral disease, since it is based on attenuated virus.
Measles cases among fully vaccinated persons
In France:
The proportion of measles cases who were fully vaccinated (i.e. with two doses of measles-mumps-rubella-containing vaccine) was higher (14 %) than what was observed in France during the much larger epidemic that occurred between 2008 and 2011 (3–4 %).
In Canada:
So the discovery that 52 of the 98 teens who caught measles were fully vaccinated came as a shock to the researchers who conducted the investigation.
In Netherlands
Eight HCWs were notified as measles cases; 6 were vaccinated with measles vaccine twice, 1 was vaccinated once, and 1 was unvaccinated.
Measles Outbreak Traced to Fully Vaccinated Patient for First Time
This is why
The Attenuated virus that in the vaccine, only protects against Attenuated Virus but not against the real virus.
