CDC: During the first 4 months of RZV (shingles) monitoring (October 20, 2017–February 20, 2018), the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) (4) received 155 reports involving RZV.

The CDC estimates that only between 1% to 10% of vaccine adverse events are reported to VAERS.⁶

So the actual number of adverse reactions from this vaccine are between 1,550 and 15,500 on the first 4 month.
